Invicta is proud to be a member of the Made in Group that has recently pledged to plant a tree for each currently subscribed company within its membership.
The initiative is the result of a partnership with Ecologi that so far has seen the planting of over 5,000 trees across the UK.
All the trees have been logged and can be viewed online alongside an image, location and the tree species. The Made in Group, which champions British industry, is committed to supporting local deforestation and encouraging its members to step into the world of Net Zero.
In the last year, the Made in Group also helped to fund a wind power project in South Africa, which has now provided healthcare for 9,000 local people through a mobile clinic, as well as a solar power project in Vietnam.
Invicta has been manufacturing quality products for the bakery and food processing industries since 1912 and is based in the Yorkshire market town of Pickering on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.
The employee-owned company is committed to keeping British manufacturing alive by following good business practices, taking on apprentices to pass on essential skills and engaging with new markets.
