100 years as a limited company!
Posted
We have just celebrated a major milestone in Invicta’s history – 100 years since becoming a limited company!
Pictured is a special certificate from Companies House, awarded to commemorate this incredible achievement and to recognise a century of innovation, craftsmanship, and dedication to the bakery, catering and food processing industries.
While Invicta’s origins date back to 1912—when it was established as a manufacturing division to support the United Yeast Company—a pivotal moment occurred in 1925. That year, employee Peter Jones acquired the business, officially forming Invicta Sheet Metal Company Ltd, based in Leeds.
A century later, Invicta remains at the forefront of bakeware and food production equipment manufacturing, proudly serving businesses across the UK and beyond from its factory in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
As we celebrate this landmark anniversary, we reflect on our rich heritage and the journey that has shaped us into the trusted supplier we are today.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our story—here’s to the next 100 years!
